Harris Happenings

Our annual family holiday this year was to pretty Hat Head on the Mid North Coast of NSW. It had moments of chaos interspersed with moments of serenity which was a big achievement with two small girls in tow.

We were very grateful for the warm weather and sunny skies. Inda even agreed to have a turn on mummy's surfboard. Is it just me or does that shadow from the board look like a giant shark?

There were beautiful moments between the girls, which was just gorgeous because it has been a long time coming. Inda has warmed ever so slowly to her sister taking a slice of the attention she is used to. And Noa has reached a beautiful age where her entire face will light up when Inda walks into the room (even if she is squealing ten centimetres from her face).

The final chapter in our Hat Head adventure involved a dead car battery, broken thermostat, steam, NRMA and sitting on the side of the road, in the heat, with no patience for the two little people accompanying us. But it did make time for some family "happy" snaps.
